Freaky Friday
On the second Friday of every month the walls of Wesley United Methodist Church shake with the sounds of children laughing and praising Jesus. Freaky Friday is an attempt to help children see that being a Christian is not only life changing - but one big ball of fun as well!
Age appropriate games and activities including crafts fill up 3 hours of non-stop action for children ages 4-12. With over 30 adult and youth volunteers this proves to be an effective ministry with children. It even caught the eye of The Family Institute and Wesley UMC was awarded the "Families and Children First" award for medium sized congregations in 2005, in large part because of Freaky Friday.
