Some say children are our future. We at Wesley United Methodist Church understand that they are more than that - they are our present too! We strive to be a child friendly church.
Infants: There is a nursery available for infants during the Sunday School hour in the crib nursery room. We also have a nursery available for children ages newborn through age four during both worship services. Ms. Lindsey Nobles is our Nursery Director and Mrs. Alisa Smith and Mrs. Cheryl Nobles are our nursery workers.
Pre-K: This group meets in the regular nursery room and is taught by Ms. Lindsey Nobles and Mrs. Alisa Smith. Children share Bible stories, crafts, and snacks.
Kindergarten - 2nd Grade: These children meet in the former church library. They use United Methodist Literature and "hands-on" experiences with crafts and games. Mrs. Jeannie Ligon helps them grow in their understanding of God in Jesus Christ.
3rd Grade - 5th Grade: These children meet in the room across from the youth room. Nana (Carolyn) Roland leads the children with the United Methodist literature and hands on experiences to enhance their faith.
