DISCIPLE COVENANT CONFERENCE

February 24 and 25 at the Macon Centreplex. The conference will begin at 6:00 PM on Friday and conclude after Saturday's noon worship session. The purpose of the conference is to provide a spiritual and learning environment for covenant planning. The two primary goals of the event are to focus on the teachings of Jesus Christ and the church's Wesleyan heritage as the foundation for making disciples and to encourage participants to either start covenant plans on site, improve the plans they have in existence or affirm the plans they already have in place

The Methodist Children's Home is in desperate need of the following items for the children: body wash, lotion, deodorant soap, Ivory soap, Dove soap, hair shampoo and conditioner and deodorant (men's and women's). There will be a box in the Narthex on Sunday for these item.

METHODIST HOME NEWS

The Methodist Children's Home Celebration Day this year raised $36,977 which will all go directly to the needs and wants of the children which include spring trips, furniture for their cottages, athletic equipment, new ice cream machine, summer trips. Thanks to all who participated in the activities, donated items, worked or prayed for the success of this day. Thanks to all.

ITEMS NEEDED FOR BIBLE SCHOOL

Outdoor shutters, any size, any condition and small white plastic lids, the size of coasters. See Olette Holmes or bring to the church.

Time to clean out attics, closets, etc for our annual yard sale scheduled for Saturday, August 6. Items may be brought to the church and placed near windows in fellowship hall beginning July 25. For additional info contact Sue Ness, 788-3977
